RANDOM WORD.....

Random word / image association .It's ONE OF THE IDEA GENERATION.

A random s

timulus is any of a class of creativity techniques that explore randomization. Most of their names start with word "random"; random word, random heuristic, random picture, random sound, etc. In each random creativity technique the user is presented with a random stimulus and explores associations that has a potential to bring novel ideas. The power of random stimulus i

s that it can lead you to explore some useful associations that could never be explored intentionally.

Random Word technique is the simplest technique of this class where a randomly picked word is used to generate new associations. By getting a random word and thinking how you can use it to solve your problem you are practically guaranteed to attack the problem from a different dire

ction from that you would normally.

* some of the word i got from wikipedia

My next exercise is I need to create something scary using a cat so i the key word i had choose was
1)cloning
2)cat
3)eyeballs

My first idea is i'll clone an ugly cat about 15 clone and put at the dangerous zone which no ones allowed to be there..

My second idea is i will put the cat which i had already clone it and make bigger then the normal size of a cat and put it infront of the gate so if they still wanna go in THEY HAVE TO PREPARE TO GET HURT!!!!

The third one is i will put the eye ball around the area that no want suppose to go in

Creative Studies 4-Juxtaposition

The last one i combine the fish and the pig..There's no way this two animal can survive in this world

The second picture i combine the giraffe and the butterfly..For sure they can't survive because the butterfly can't fly with the giraffe

Then we had been ask to combine two animal become one but make sure that animal can't survive in this world. So the first picture i combine the elephant with Meerkat..

Then this one is the combanition of all the picture based on the category..
The 1st one combanition of LIGHT + WOOD = LIGHTWOOD
The 2nd one is the combanition of FLOWER + MOUNTAIN = FLOWERMOUNTAIN
The 3rd one is FLOWER + TREE = FLOWERTREE

The 1st one is FLOWER + MOUNTAIN
The 2nd one is LIGHT + WOOD
The 3rd one is FLOWER + TREE

In class we have to choose 3 pair of numbers from 00-99.I had choose 14 ,46,17...

What is mean by Juxtaposition ??

Juxtaposition can be defined as placing two variable, side by side and their contrast or similarity are shown through comparison. Many creative processes rely on juxtaposition. By juxtaposing two objects or words next to each other, human brain will automatically associate or transfer meaning. Usually ‘turning’ something familiar to something less familiar or vice-versa.Random juxtaposition, two random objects moving in parallel, a technique intended to stimulate creativity. Many creative processes relies on juxtaposition. The act of juxtaposing is to place two objects or words next to each other. What automatically happens is that there is transference of meaning. Usually from something familiar to something less familiar.

Associated Mind Maps & Random Word

Using an associated mind map we are able to be able to generate random

words and also show the links between words that seemingly have no connection.

Below is the definition for the word Random. A Random word is word that does

not have any clear or direct connection to the subject matter. The Random word is

a key element in the Idea Generation process, especially in the use

of Random Association.

Logical Mind Map

These picture were taken from Google

There is two type of mind map.The first one is The Logical Mind Map andAssociated Mind Map is directly connected to stereotypes. The first one is The Logical mind map comprises of solely stereotype words. Which means that every word or image that is put within the mind map is directly related to the central subject through its link.

MIND MAPPING...

A mind map is a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged around a central key word or idea. Mind maps are used to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas, and as an aid to studying and organizing information, solving problems, making decisions, and writing. The elements of a given mind map are arranged intuitively according to the importance of the concepts, and are classified into groupings, branches, or areas, with the goal of representing semantic or other connections between portions of information. Mind maps may also aid recall of existing memories.By presenting ideas in a radial, graphical, non-linear manner, mind maps encourage a brainstorming approach to planning and organizational tasks. Though the branches of a mindmap represent hierarchical tree structures, their radial arrangement disrupts the prioritizing of concepts typically associated with hierarchies presented with more linear visual cues. This orientation towards brainstorming encourages users to enumerate and connect concepts without a tendency to begin within a particular conceptual framework. The mind map can be contrasted with the similar idea of concept mapping. The former is based on radial hierarchies and tree structuresdenoting relationships with a central governing concept, whereas concept maps are based on connections between concepts in more diverse patterns.
